Lady Gaga has partnered with Zynga, makers of the popular Facebook game FarmVille, in order to create her own special farm dubbed GagaVille, which will offer fans a sneak peak at the pop star’s new album, Born This Way, due out May 23.
Starting May 16, Little Monsters can visit GagaVille as a neighboring farm on their regular FarmVille game. While in GagaVille, players can complete certain set tasks in order to unlock tracks from the upcoming album.
"I want to celebrate and share Born This Way with my little monsters in a special way that’s never been done before. Zynga has created a magical place in FarmVille where my fans can come play, and be the first to listen to the album," explained Gaga.
The special farm will be filled with Gaga-related items, like unicorns, crystals, and even sheep on motorcycles. From May 17-23, one new Gaga track will be unlocked daily, accessible only by completing a special GagaVille quest.
"Lady Gaga is as passionate about her fans as we are about our players. This really was a great meeting of the minds to create an innovative and playful experience for those folk," said Zynga’s Raquel DiSabatino.
