Singer Lady Gaga announced some more dates on her Monster Ball tour. This will be the first time the eccentric pop star will be headlining concerts in North American arenas.
The successful Poker Face singer begins her tour on this side of the pond on June 28 in Montreal. The tour ends in Raleigh, North Carolina on September 19.
Tickets for the first tour dates, including a June 6 stop at Madison Square Garden in New York, go on sale on March 19.
According to the itinerary just announced, Lady Gaga’s presence at the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago is not a sure thing. However, the event takes place on August 6-8 and those dates appear clear on her calendar.
Lady Gaga is offering a different production for arena concertgoers. She says, "It’s still called Monster Ball, but it’s more of a musical and less of a concert. It has a New York theme, it’s a story, and the story is that me and my friends are in New York and we’re going to the Monster Ball, and we get lost."
