Lady Gaga wants to make a memorable album

The singer is doing everything to ensure her next album is a critical success.

Lady Gaga had fun recently when she collaborated with Beyoncé on the song Telephone. She is taking her next trip to the studio a little more seriously. Gaga wants her next album to mark her place in pop history.

During a live interview with SHOWstudio.com, she explained the importance of leaving her mark on the music industry. She said, "This new album is my chance to create what in 20 years will be seen as my iconic moment. That’s what you should always aim at."

Gaga also revealed she will not be collaborating with any other musicians right now. She added: "At this very moment, I really don’t want to do any collaborations, because I want to really stand on my own two feet."

She also talked about how she finds the inspiration for her songs. She stated: "My new album that I’m creating, which is finished pretty much, was written with this new instinctual energy that I’ve developed getting to know my fans. They protect me, so now it’s now my destiny to protect them."

Lady Gaga has a small travelling studio on her tour bus so she can keep recording on the road. There is no release date announced yet for the follow-up album to her highly successful The Fame.
