The beauty brand has just announced that Roberts will be the new ambassador for their products, reports Vogue.
Roberts is following in the footsteps of Kate Winslet, Anne Hathaway and Juliette Binoche, who have also posed for the brand.
Lancôme described the actress as an emblematic woman of today, thanks to her bold personality and her remarkable career.
President of Lancôme International, Youcef Nabi, said that Roberts’ talents, influence and strong commitment line up perfectly with the values of the company, which is why he is convinced that the star will best represent the brand.
Lancôme has not revealed which product Roberts will represent.
The cosmetics giant will be celebrating its 75th year of existence beginning in 2010. To celebrate the occasion, a special book will be published, titled Lancôme, une excellence française, written by novelist and journalist Stéphane Guibourgé.
