Lancôme has finally launched its newest fragrance for women, Trésor Midnight Rose, inspired by the cobbled streets of Paris, reports Basenotes.net.
The upscale French cosmetics company describes Trésor Midnight Rose as “A scent that is sweet floral, mischievous and addictive… an overdose of femininity.”
In creating the storyline for its new scent, the brand describes the promotional campaign shot by Mario Testino and featuring Harry Potter star Emma Watson and French actor Cyril Descours.
“When a charming, mysterious, mischievous woman makes a man fall so madly in love with her that he will do anything to prove his love and to capture her heart!”
“Trésor Midnight Rose is the passionate temper of an extroverted rose, the delicious addiction of a raspberry and blackcurrant explosion, the bite of vibrant woods – this a pulsing rose, a ‘Midnight Rose.’”
The fragrance was developed by perfumer Anne Flipo, and opens with a fruity burst of raspberry and blackcurrant. The heart is a floral blend of rose absolute, jasmine, and peony, with trailing base notes of vanilla, musk, and cedar.
The feminine glass flacon has deep graduated shades of purple, and the cap is adorned with a fabric rose.
Trésor Midnight Rose is available in 1 oz (30 mL), 1.7 oz (50 mL), and 2.5 oz (75 mL) Eau de Parfum spray at Lancôme retailing for $58 to $94.
