Lancôme Timewarps Into the 60s

Lancôme is plunging back into the 1960s.

According to the French edition of Vogue magazine, Aaron de Mey, the artistic director for Lancôme, wants to pay homage to the 60s with fresh and energetic colours for the Ôh My Rose collection.

Still continuing within the free-spirit of its previous collection, Declaring Indigo, de Mey is leaving the French Revolution behind to spotlight the Pop Art of the 60s in the quarters of Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Saint-Tropez.

The range embellishes peach shades and green. The central piece of the collection is the Baby Kiss lipstick, which was inspired by the mouths of Geisha dolls. Offered in a beautiful box and wrapped in tissue paper, the lipstick will make lips soft and kissable.

Ôh My Rose by Lancôme will be available in stores in January 2010.
