It’s an auspicious debut for the iHeartRadio music festival this Septebmer 23 and 24 in Las Vegas, Nevada, as tickets for the star-studded event sold out within ten minute.
The festival has managed to score top headliners Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Black Eyed Peas, and Coldplay. Iheartradio is an interactive social networking platform that offers more than 750 radio stations free online, as well as specific shows and on-demand content including photos and videos.
Additional performers jumping at the chance to be connected to the interactive media, and thereby their fans, include Alicia Keys, Kelly Clarkson, Jane’s Addiction, Nicki Minaj, Sting, Carrie Underwood, Usher, and Steven Tyler.
The festival will be held at the MGM Grand and hosted by Ryan Seacrest, host of both a top 20 radio show, and perhaps more famous for his longtime hosting stint on TV talent show American Idol.
