Valentino will be presenting this collection at the Haute Couture runway show in Paris on January 23, reported FemaleFirst. The designer has been at the head of fashion for more than 45 years.
When Valentino announced his retirement last year, he explained that he would like to quit while he is still ahead. He will continue making costumes for operas and ballets even after he retires.
After Valentino’s retirement, Gucci designer, Alessandra Facchinetti, will be in charge of women’s clothing, while the Prada designer, Ferruccio Pozzoni, will be doing men’s wear.
The Valentino fashion show will be spectacular. The spokesperson for the house of couture stated, "It will be a grand collection, a grand show, somewhat unique with a lot of gowns."
