Lavish One Hyde Park now open in London

Extravagant flats in downtown London now available for purchase.

One of the most prestigious and expensive addresses in the world, One Hyde Park in downtown London has officially opened its doors and started taking reservations, reports the Daily Mail.

Offering views of Hyde Park along with a bevy of luxury features, including a private cinema and even room service from the Mandarin Oriental hotel next door, the exclusive flats are expected to sell for over $880 a square metre.

Even the smallest and least expensive one-bedroom will run over $10 million, while the penthouses cost upwards of $220 million.

And then there are the annual service fees, which will set owners back about $240 per square metre per year – totalling over $150,000 each year for the largest units.

Despite the steep price tag, over 65 percent of the units are already taken.

Future One Hyde Park residents are reported to include His Excellency Sheik Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jaber at-Thani, Mohammed Saud Sultan Al Qasimi, head of finance for one of the United Arab Emirates, and Kazakh billionaire Vladimir Kim.
