Award-winning country singer LeAnn Rimes denied rumours her boyfriend, actor Eddie Cibrian, cheated on her with his ex-wife.
Rimes left her husband in order to shack up with Cibrian. Her divorce from Dean Sheremet became finalized in June. Eddie Cibrian divorced his wife in August 2009. The couple share custody of two boys, Mason, 7, and Jake, 3.
A spokesperson for the singer stated: "The Star magazine story is absolutely untrue and completely made up of lies fabricated by people who clearly have no lives of their own. LeAnn refuses to stoop to their level by acknowledging or responding to these ridiculous stories."
Eddie Cibrian has an idea of where this rumour started. He posted a nasty message on his Twitter page: "Once again my ex has stooped to a new low attempting to sabotage my beautiful relationship with LeAnn."
The actor also lashed out at the tabloid that published the rumour. He added: "Not surprisingly the ONLY magazine that decided to run the story shares the same credibility and delusion as my ex. They should be ashamed of themselves."
