Led Zeppelin to Tour without Plant

It’s now official, Led Zeppelin will be doing a reunion tour without Robert Plant.

Led Zeppelin have confirmed that they are searching for a replacement singer for an upcoming tour.

In an interview with BBC Radio Devon, the band’s bassist, Paul Jones, said that Robert Plant was not interested in a reunion tour with the band that made him famous.  However, the other band members will forge ahead, and are looking for a new singer.  That singer could possibly be Myles Kennedy.

Jones added that they aren’t searching for a copy of Robert Plant, but a true lead singer.

Rumours that Led Zeppelin would be touring again began after a one-off reunion performance in London last December.  Since the show, the band wanted to start touring, although Robert Plant said several times that he was not interested.
