Leonardo DiCaprio Wants To Make Twilight Zone

Leonardo DiCaprio may be producing a Twilight Zone project.

Warner Bros. and DiCaprio’s production company, Appian Way, are moving forward with a Twilight Zone film project.

Based on the television series from 1959, the film will be written by Rand Ravich, who directed The Astronaut’s Wife and created the NBC series Life.

The original Twilight Zone series aired for five seasons.  A film was also made in 1983 based on the series and featured different segments.  Steven Spielberg and John Landis produced and directed one of the segments.

DiCaprio is currently filming Inception, which will be released in the summer of 2010.  His next film, Martin Scorsese’s Shutter Island, will hit theatres on October 2.
