TMZ reports that the woman who injured Leonardo DiCaprio was finally found and arrested last week.
A 39-year old former model, Aretha Wilson will finally face justice.
The incident occurred in 2005 during a party hosted by Rick Solomon at his home in the Hollywood Hills. Solomon was Paris Hilton’s partner in a sex video that found its way onto the Internet.
Wilson injured DiCaprio on the face and ear with a glass and the actor needed 17 stitches.
She was arrested in Los Angeles and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. She then managed to flee the U.S. to avoid trial.
She was finally caught last week in Ontario, Canada and charged. She will not oppose extradition to the U.S. where she will finally stand trial. The fact she fled the country only makes her situation worse.
Aretha Wilson seems to have some anger issues because a year after injuring DiCaprio, she broke a bottle over an old boyfriend’s head. She was also convicted of that misdemeanor.
