According to The Hollywood Reporter, Leslie Mann, who starred in the comedy Knocked Up, will take part in the dark comedy, I Love You Phillip Morris.
Mann will portray the wife of Jim Carrey who is sent to prison where he falls in love with his cellmate Phillip Morris. His love pushes him to try to escape so he can be with his true love.
Andrew Lazar and Far Shariat co-produced the film which is financed in full by the company, Luc Besson, EuropaCorp. Luc Besson is the executive producer, and filming is set to begin at the end of this month.
