Moviehole has announced that Schreiber (The Omen, Defiance) is currently in talks with Columbia Pictures to share the screen with Jolie in Salt.
The feature film will follow the story of Evelyn Salt (Jolie), a CIA agent accused of being a Russian spy. Her co-workers are after her because they believe that she plans to assassinate the president. In addition to keeping herself and her family from being captured, she must find a way to prove her innocence. Schreiber would play a friend and co-worker of the agent in question. Filming is set to begin in March in New York.
In the meantime, we can next see Liev Schreiber in the film X-Men Origins: Wolverine, opening on May 1, and also in Taking Woodstock, which hits theatres on August 14.
