The Black Eyed Peas are going 3D. Orange News reports the group asked award-winning 3D master and director James Cameron to make a movie following their world tour.

Speaking to Vibe magazine, will.i.am said: "We have the biggest director, because we are the biggest group on the planet. The Peas are filming it in South America. People will be able to see us in the theatre with the 3D glasses and everything."

He added: "We’ve toured from America and Europe, to the Middle East, South America, Asia and Africa. It’s not like we go, ‘Yo, we are international, you know what I’m saying? London and Paris!’ Nah, that’s just two cities. We want to go across the planet."

The feature film will be released next year and give fans an intimate look at their life on the road.

Will.i.am recently shot down rumours that bandmate Fergie was quitting the Peas. He revealed he asked if she was, in fact, leaving. According to will.i.am, this was Fergie’s answer: "You’re a f**king idiot!"
