Lil Wayne featured on new Limp Bizkit album
American rock band Limp Bizkit will feature rapper Lil Wayne on a track of their upcoming album, Gold Cobra, reports NME.
Frontman Fred Durst confirmed the news through Twitter: "Oh, excuse me, sixteenth song mixed is Ready To Go featuring Lil Wayne! …I love it," the singer wrote on March 12.
The album also features Wu Tang Clan rapper Raekwon, while Gene Simmons of KISS provides the voiceover on the album’s introduction.
The band’s fifth studio album, Gold Cobra will be their first since guitarist Wes Borland rejoined the group. No release date has been confirmed yet, although it is expected out early this year.
"We are extremely excited to get this album into your eardrums. As some of you have noticed, we have and will take as much time as we need before putting this album out regardless of any pressure or impatience that is thrown our way. So, waste your breath if you like. Its your prerogative," wrote Durst on the band’s website.
