According to MTV News, Lil Wayne is focusing on his forthcoming album Rebirth, his Young Money record company and his tour.
However, the star is not in a rush to release Rebirth, since the release date was pushed back to a later, unknown date.
The singer spoke about the album delay and about trying to get his record company off the ground. "Honestly, I’m just starting up this Young Money label and I’m trying to get my artists down right. Get everybody together," he said.
On Monday evening, the artist began his latest tour, Young Money Presents: The America’s Most Wanted Music Festival.
"The Rebirth album is just me expressing myself without any boundaries. Without any margins, without any guidelines. [I’m] trying to do something different," Wayne added.
