Lily Allen planned to ignore her husband after he spent too long in the pub.
The ‘Smile’ singer was unhappy with Sam Cooper – with whom she has a five-month-old daughter Ethel Mary with – when he failed to return home at a reasonable time and moaned about his drinking on twitter.
She tweeted: "dear husband, i hope you are enjoying the pub, can you come home now please, love lily x (sic)"
She quickly followed up with: "actually you can stay as long as you like but i will ignore you upon your return and you can forget about breakfast. (sic)"
Lily is currently taking a break from the music world and spends most of her time in her country home in Gloucestershire.
However, it has not all been plain sailing for the pop star in the countryside – she recently stressed out after she heard a strange creature in her home.
She wrote on twitter: "there is an animal of some sort scurrying around in the house , im too scared to get out of bed and see what it is. bigger than a mouse (sic)"
