British singer Lily Allen asked for her fans’ forgiveness after posting an ugly photo of singer Courtney Love on Twitter, Starpulse reports.
Allen fuelled the ongoing animosity between Love and herself online yesterday (March 1). She published some very unflattering photos of the rocker and quickly received a lot of negative comments from web surfers.
Love responded to this attack by publishing her own unflattering picture of Allen on stage. She then went on to write a number of comments about Allen on her Twitter account.
Allen finally had enough and decided to apologize. She wrote, "Sorry, that was mean. Enuff (sic) of these juvenile musings, I should never have risen to the bait. Silly lily."
This is not the first time that Lily Allen has gotten into it with another star. At the end of 2008, she got into a war of words with singer Katy Perry who said, "I’m like a fatter version of Amy Winehouse and a skinnier version of Lily Allen!"
Allen did not appreciate the comment and retorted that her American rival had no talent.
