Linda Evangelista seeks massive child support settlement

Supermodel is demanding $46K a month from French businessman François-Henri Pinault.

One month after naming him as the father of her four-year-old son Augustin James, supermodel Linda Evangelista is going after billionaire French businessman François-Henri Pinault for a whopping $46,000 a month in child support, reports the New York Times.

Evangelista told a Manhattan judge that the money would go towards a round-the-clock nanny – an $80,000-a-year expense – and two retired policemen to act as armed guards and chauffeurs to little Augustin – which will run her about $175,000 a year.

Pinault – CEO of the conglomerate responsible for luxury labels Gucci, Yves St. Laurent and Bottega Veneta – is currently married to Selma Hayek and has a three-year-old daughter, Valentina, with the actress. He also has two children from a previous marriage.

According to Evangelista’s lawyer, while Pinault showers Valentina with luxuries – such as paying $50,000 a month towards a $12 million estate that will be held in trust for the girl – Augustin has not been given a single cent by his father.

While the judge did shoot down Evangelista’s request for a $7,500 monthly travel stipend, he did seem sympathetic to the need for a nanny and security costs, considering the boy’s high-profile status.
