According to HolyMoly.com, police are investigating the disapearance of a diamond necklace that Lindsay Lohan wore during a photo shoot for Elle magazine.
"She kept going on about the jewels, asking if she could have them. We all thought she was joking," said a witness during the shoot.
The jeweller cannot find the missing necklace valued at $400 000 and contacted Elle magazine.
Rumours have been circulating that magazine employees have tried to contact the Mean Girls star, but she has not returned their calls.
The affair is now in the hands of the London police who are investigating the mysterious disapearance of the jewellery.
