The woman involved in the car chase incident where Lohan was found to be under the influence of drugs and alcohol is suing the star.
According to the Associated Press, the documents filed at the Los Angeles court indicated that Tracie Rice was the passenger being chased by Lohan and Michele Peck was driving Lohan’s car. Peck was the mother of Lohan’s assistant and has recently quit.
People magazine reported that Rice is asking for financial compensation for medical costs and emotional trauma. She also claims to have lost her job where she was earning $60 000 annually.
Rice stated that she thought she was being carjacked and that the high-speed chase put them in danger. Rice drove to a nearby police station for help.
