Lindsay Lohan house arrest rules

Mean Girls starlet relaxing at home – under court order.

For the next month or so, Mean Girls starlet Lindsay Lohan, 24, will be confined to her townhome in Venice, California, under house arrest for stealing jewelry and violating probation of her 2007 DUI charge, reports People.

The trouble actress must follow the standard rules for home detention, which means she is not allowed outside the “interior premises” of her home without prior authorization or her ankle bracelet alarm will sound – just like Shia LeBeouf’s character in Disturbia.

Although she can have as many visitors as she wants and unlimited phone and Internet use, Lohan is forbidden from leaving the house except for medical and probation department appointments – arranged in advance, of course.

She is not allowed to go to work, perform community service, or tamper with the monitoring bracelet. The actress will have to follow these rules until June 29, at which time she will begin performing 480 hours of community service, and remain on probation for three years.

The actress spent the weekend sitting on her roof deck with ocean view, smoking electronic Blu cigarettes and reading a script, according to E!Online.

Soon, Lohan will have the opportunity to revive her acting career by playing Kim Gotti in the Barry Levinson directed mob movie, Gotti: Three Generations, starring John Travolta, Al Pacino, and Joe Pesci.
