A source close to the star explained, "She’s been sending text messages from rehab saying she’s the happiest she has ever been. She seems under control right now."
The Just My Luck and Freaky Friday star missed the Sundance Film Festival due to her treatment.
Lohan, 20, has the right to leave the facility daily in order to work. At the moment, the actress is filming I Know Who Killed Me.
