According to a report by E!Online, the tabloid queen has joined the cast of the comedy, along with Jack Black.
Lohan, 21, has just finished filming Dare to Love Me, which is her first cinema project since her discharge from the detoxification centre Cirque Lodge.
A source from Patriot Pictures, who is financing the project, says that the movie is about rival Renaissance Faire troupes as they make their way through the competitive circuit. It’s unclear whether Lohan will be one of Black’s repertory players.
Cary Elwes, Matthew Lillard, David Arquette, Ann-Margret, Orlando Jones and Molly Bryant will also star in the film.
