Lohan spent the entire summer in detox, and People reported that she is back in Los Angeles now shooting a movie.
The 21-year-old star was a real party animal, but will now be a little more serious as she starts shooting Dare to Love Me, which she was just beginning when she was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Lohan’s mother told People, "Lindsay is very happy and her life is back in control."
The singer and actress was discharged from Cirque Lodge in Utah where she was receiving rehabilitation treatment.
The star still has to serve a sentence of 24 hours in prison, that was ordered for drinking and driving.
