According to FemaleFirst, the star of the films Freaky Friday and Mean Girls reserved a room at the Chateau Marmont for the past year, although she rarely stayed at the hotel.
A source revealed, "She tries to keep the bungalow reserved on the off chance she’ll pop into LA. But it’s a real waste of time and money."
The star’s accountant was not very happy when he saw the bill. Apparently Lohan did not realize how her decision could create such a large expense.
The actress can be seen in the film Just My Luck, which opens in North America next week. She earned $7.5 million for that film.
