Lionel Richie Wants a Reunion

Lionel Richie wants to reunite with his former group, The Commodores.

The singer, who left the group in 1982 to pursue a solo career, wants to organize a reunion tour with The Commodores within the next two years, reports FemaleFirst. He stated, "We better do it now, or in the next 10 years nobody would care."

The 58-year-old star doesn’t want to lose any time to plan the reunion, because he finds that time is passing by too quickly.  Two years ago, the band’s guitarist, Milan Williams, passed away.

Last year, bassist Ronald La Pread met up with Richie on his tour, and they performed some of their biggest hits together.
