Several members of the media announced yesterday (March 17) that Richardson is brain dead following a ski accident at Montreal’s Mont-Tremblant resort.
Richardson had been treated at a Montreal hospital before being flown to New York. Family members are expected to give a press conference today (March 18).
The 45-year-old star fell on Monday (March 16) while having a ski lesson.
Richardson suffered head injuries, and although she was able to talk after the fall, she later complained of migraines, and was sent to a hospital. Her husband, actor Liam Neeson, rushed to his wife’s side.
The two stars are the parents of two boys, Michael Richard Antonio, 13, and Daniel Jack, 12.
