Liv steps out on a ledge

Liv Tyler and Patrick Wilson join the cast of a new suspense thriller.

Liv Tyler and Patrick Wilson join Terrence Howard and Charlie Hunnam in the film The Ledge.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, this will be the first film written and directed by Matthew Chapman.

He says, "The Ledge examines the different and sometimes dangerous beliefs people adopt as a means of surviving emotional trauma. I am thrilled with our perfect cast and look forward to shooting the film in Baton Rouge over the coming weeks."

Actor Charlie Hunnam plays a young man threatening to jump off a high-rise building. Terrence will play a policeman trying to prevent this from happening.

Michel Mailer (Loverboy) and Mark Damon (Monster) will be producers. Howard will be an executive producer on the film.

Principal photography began yesterday (March 8) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Patrick Wilson can be seen in three films this year, The A-Team coming to theatres on June 11, Morning Glory out on July 30 and The Switch out on August 20.

No release date has been announced for Liv Tyler’s latest film, Super. She stars with Ellen Page and Kevin Bacon. There is also talk she will reprise her role in The Strangers sequel but nothing has been confirmed.
