The show, which was held on July 7 at several locations around the globe, will be released in a CD/DVD package. Live Earth: The Concerts for a Climate in Crisis will be released on November 20 by Warner Bros.
The first single from the disc will be Bleed It Out, which was performed in Tokyo by Linkin Park. The compilation disc also includes performances by Madonna, the Foo Fighters, Kelly Clarkson, Keith Urban, the Beastie Boys and Rihanna.
It will be possible to obtain a digital version of the disc on November 6 on iTunes, which will feature John Mayer performing the song Waiting on the World to Change.
Profits earned from the sales of the CD/DVD will go to the Alliance for Climate Protection. The Live Earth concerts featured 150 artists performing in different cities simultaneously.
