According to Billboard, the leaders of hard funk rock, Living Colour, will release The Chair In The Doorway in the fall for eager fans who have been waiting six years for a new album.
The album, on Megaforce Records, contains eleven songs that were recorded in numerous locations over the last few years, with the majority of the sessions taking place at Sono Studios in Prague.
According to singer Corey Glover, most of the material came to light when the band was asked to re-record the song Cult of Personality for the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock game.
In addition, Living Colour also recorded some songs when they were on tour. Glover said, "We recorded everywhere. We even recorded during shows – ideas that came up during shows turned into songs."
