Spanish luxury brand Loewe is launching a new collection of fragrances for the holidays, reports Basenotes. Presented in a small leather case separated into four compartments, each contains a bottle of perfume.
Each scent represents one of four concepts: passion, sensuality, desire, and eternity.
Passion reflects energy and strength and includes notes of Bulgarian rose, orange blossom and Mysore sandalwood. Sensuality features notes of red currant, Calabria lemon, Egyptian jasmine and Mysore sandalwood.
The third fragrance, Desire, consists of notes of Bergamot, Iris from Florence, and Atlas Cedar. The final fragrance, Eternity, contains notes of Ylang-Ylang from Comores, jasmine from Grasse, and vanilla absolute.
The small glass art-deco style flacons were inspired by designs of Vicente Vela from 1978.
“Only high quality glass is used during the handcrafted process of creation,” according to the company. “Both the cap and the bottle are hand-flamed, polished and carved, giving as a result an exclusive piece of great artistic value. Each bottle, crafted one by one, is a jewel longing to be contemplated, touched, felt… admired.”
The fragrances are available individually or as a set in Loewe’s suede-gold vanity case. Loewe´s Suede-Gold collection began in 1975, and has since become one of their trademarks.
La Colección is exclusive to Harrods for six months, and each fragrance is priced at £250 (about $400). The vanity case set is priced at £3500 ($5,635).
