Lollapalooza is Back
Lollapalooza, one of the oldest and most important rock festivals, will happen in July. Unlike previous festivals, this year it won’t be a traveling show, it will be held in Chicago.
According to the official website for Lollapalooza, 70 groups will play on five stages. The final schedule of performances should be revealed on April 22.
The festival will be held on July 23-24 at Chicago’s outdoor Grant Park. Tickets go on sale April 7.
According to early reports from the magazine Billboard, Beck, the Killers, Kings of Leon and Widespread Panic are all signed on to be part of the show.
Lollapalooza 2004 was cancelled due to low tickets sales, even with artists such as Morrissey, String Cheese Incident, Wilco, the Pixies, Flaming Lips and Sonic Youth.
