Louis Vuitton sofas designed by Jason Phillips

Take a monogrammed seat – from upscale French fashion house.

French luxury brand Louis Vuitton has launched its own sofas, designed by American furniture designer Jason Phillips and manufactured by the Phillips Collection, reports Luxuo.

The Louis Vuitton sectional sofas come in two varieties of printed fabric – both patterned with the famous initials – for those who want to ensure everyone knows where they shop.

One sofa is white with a whimsical rainbow LV print, and the other is a more subdued chocolate brown with a light beige LV print. The limited edition collection is made from repurposed fabrics, and co-ordinated throw cushions are also available.

Designer Jason Phillips described the collection as “A fun exploration of what luxury really is. Are you playful or are you traditional?  Both styles can be suited in these sectionals. Repurposed fabrics upholstered in limited edition.”

This month, Louis Vuitton’s spring-summer 2011 advertising campaign debuts in magazines worldwide. The ads, which portray a decadent glamour, were conceptualized by Marc Jacobs and shot in a New York studio. The campaign features rich colors, shimmering textures, dramatic hair styles, and sparkling décor.

Louis Vuitton is well known for its LV monogram, which is featured on most products, ranging from luxury trunks and leather goods to ready-to-wear, shoes, watches, jewellery, accessories, sunglasses, and books.
