At an interview with Glamour magazine, the 41-year-old star rejected the possibility of marriage with her boyfriend, Francois-Henri Pinault, who is also the father of her daughter, Valentina.
Hayek explained, "I don’t have a need for marriage. You want to grow old with someone, you want to have a partner and to have children – we have all those things. Some people need the commitment. Maybe we’ll just have the party!"
Hayek, who is also the producer of the television series Ugly Betty, added that she is fine with the long-distance relationship she has with Pinault. Hayek lives in Los Angeles, while Pinault lives in Paris. She added, "Every relationship is unique, and in order to make it work you have to be willing to listen – not only to your partner, but to the relationship itself."
