Luxembourg’s Prince Felix has married his fiancee Claire Lademacher in the first of two weddings for the couple.

Luxembourg’s Prince Felix has got married.

The 29-year-old royal tied the knot with Claire Lademacher yesterday (17.09.13) in a civil ceremony in her hometown of Frankfurt, Germany, but the quiet affair, which was attended by his parents, the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, was the first of two nuptials for the happy couple.

Felix and Claire are to celebrate their wedding again with 350 guests in a bigger event on Saturday (21.09.13) at the Sainte Marie-Madeleine de Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume basilica in the South of France.

Afterwards, the pair are going on a honeymoon Felix has organised himself, but he is remaining tight-lipped about the destination.

According to HELLO! magazine, he told a local newspaper: ”The day after our wedding we will depart on our honeymoon, and I will personally take care of the organisation.

”It is tradition in our family that the destination of the honeymoon is a surprise for the bride, that is only revealed at the last minute before departure…”

The couple, who met while studying at the Collège Alpin International Beau Soleil in Switzerland, announced their engagement in December.
