Singer M.I.A. was forced to cancel appearances at summer festivals this summer due to exhaustion, reports Pitchfork. The star explained, "I’m canceling because I feel like physically I just have to stop for a second. It’s too insane."
She added that she’s losing her sense of reality, and it’s time for her to slow down. She wants to spend time with loved ones, and feels that she can’t continue at such a pace.
Interscope confirmed that the singer has cancelled the remainder of her concerts in Europe scheduled for June and July. Her last show before the summer break was on June 6 at Brooklyn’s McCarren Park Pool.
