Macy Gray relaunches her plus-size collection

Macy Gray decides to create more clothes for plus-sized women.

Macy Gray will continue her work as a designer and plans to relaunch her women’s plus-size clothing line, Humps. The R&B singer first introduced her Humps collection in 2008.

Gray recently attended the launch party for Esprit’s new flagship store on 34th Street in Manhattan. She was there to promote her new album The Sellout and performed a song for the crowd.

She said she was inspired to create new clothing for plus-sized women and promised, "The lines are coming up."

Macy Gray also commented on the hip styles she was finding at Espirit. She shared, "I was surprised. I hadn’t been to Esprit in forever."

Gray expects to relaunch her clothing collection next year.

When Macy Gray originally launched Humps, she explained that the idea for this project was born out of frustration at seeing clothing collections created for thin women.

She said at the time, "It’s actually for voluptuous, curvaceous girls, girls with thighs and hips."
