She was the face of Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring/Summer ad campaign. Now FashionMag reports that Madonna is designing for them.
She worked with her friends Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana to create a sunglasses collection with the MDG logo. The "M" is made of little stars and the other letters are plain.
The Italian duo drew more than 50 designs and sent them Madonna who picked six pairs. The collection includes retro black plastic shades and gold and silver metal frames.
Gabbana told WWD, "We’re so excited. This further strengthens our relationship with Madonna, and it was a very constructive experience for us. She is very exacting and a professional who seeks perfection in everything she does, and this was no exception."
The ad campaign for Madonna’s sunglasses collection for D&G was directed by photographer Steven Klein.
The collection is produced and distributed by Luxottica and will be available in May.
