The American singer recently gave her first interview since she announced that her marriage with filmmaker Guy Ritchie was over.
"I’m sad about my personal life, but I feel very blessed and very lucky that I have the opportunity to do what I do in my professional life," explained Madonna, who is still on tour.
The star admits that her schedule is so busy that it doesn’t allow much time for pity. She added, "It would be horrible if I was just thinking about getting a divorce and had nothing to do."
Last Friday (November 21), a London judge granted Madonna and Ritchie a preliminary divorce. Madonna claims that Ritchie had "unreasonable behavior" throughout their eight-year marriage.
