The laywoman who gave us Like a Prayer (1989) is still the talk of the town. Somewhat in the fashion of Angelina Jolie, Madonna wants to help African children in the hopes of making them smile. To make sure her attempts are successful, the star adopted an entire village in Malawi, a country located in Central Africa.
In its latest issue, the magazine In Touch Weekly reports what Madonna’s spokesperson stated: “She is adopting a village of children. Madonna is participating in the building of a school and home for hundreds of kids in Malawi and that’s her current passion and commitment.”
The pop singer is now on her Confessions world tour. Her next stop is the Cardiff Millenium Stadium in Europe.
