Madonna took a flight to Rio de Janeiro on Monday (November 9) to meet the parents of her boyfriend Jesus Luz.
The singer seemed rather stressed about the idea of meeting her lover’s parents. His father, Luis Heitor Pinto da Luz, is a hospital staff member, and his mother, Cristiane Regina da Silvan, is 15 years younger than Madonna.
Silvan, who is only 36, had her son when she was a teenager, and she seemed uncomfortable about her son’s relationship with the pop star that began after they met during a photo session in December 2008.
Madonna was apprehensive to meet Jesus’ parents, and understandably so, since she wants to gain their approval.
During a recent interview on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, Madonna had to respond to certain questions about her and Jesus’ age difference.
When asked about which age she prefers in a man, she replied, "As long as they’re old enough to dress themselves, they’re good enough."
The singer added, "Younger people are more adventurous. Have you met many guys my age? They’re usually grumpy and fat and balding."
Even though Madonna will soon be celebrating her one-year anniversary of dating Jesus, there was a recently a little tension after the star made a comment that she would rather get hit by a train that remarry, causing her beau some embarrassment and distress.
