Yesterday (May 27), a judge granted Madonna legal guardianship of young David Banda, whom she adopted from Malawi, reports Us Magazine.
Banda, 3, has been living with Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie since October 2006, and now the adoption process is complete.
The singer’s attorney commented, "We are very happy with what the judge has ruled."
Madonna and Ritchie have two other children, Lourdes, 11, and Rocco, 7.
