According to Britain’s ITV, Campbell was taken to a London police station after being called by a woman in Westminster for assault.
The celebrity was finally released on bail, but will need to face the charges in December. A representative for the model declared that the incident was a, "misunderstanding. We are sure it will all be sorted out when the police investigate."
Campbell, 36, has previously been involved in a number of similar incidents. She is expected to be in a New York court next month for a different charge. She was accused of throwing a cellular telephone at the head of her cleaning woman.
In 2000, Campbell admitted to attacking her personal assistant, Georgina Galanis, in Canada.
