According to People magazine, the singer said that the baby that she has adopted from Malawi is healthy and flourishing. The child is also adapting well to Madonna’s two biological children. They are all now living together in their London home.
The interview was conducted via satellite, during which the Hung Up singer revealed, "David is amazing. What really surprises me is how great my children are with him and how he’s transitioned so easily from living in Africa in an orphanage to living in our house."
Madonna, 48, has two biological children, Lourdes, 10, and Rocco, 6. The star traveled to Malawi for the adoption with her husband, director Guy Ritchie. Little David Banda returned to England with Madonna last week.
Madonna added, "My goal is that I will give David an education and a chance for a better life. What a better way for David to go back and help the Malawians and be a voice for his country than to first have a life?"
