According to the singer’s internet site, the DVD from her Confessions tour will go on sale on January 23 in North America. The DVD will be released in two formats, although the date for the international release has not yet been announced.
The DVD was directed by Jonas Akelund and was filmed last August in London. The musical numbers were recorded in their entirety, including the scene with Madonna on a crucifix, which was censored by the American television channel NBC during their broadcast.
