According to IOL, Madonna will appear on Winfrey’s October 25 show. The Hung Up singer will be talking about her adoption of little David Banda, originally from Malawi.
The 48 year-old artist will talk about her decision to adopt the child. She is now being criticised because the boy’s father, Yohane Banda, has spoken out that he was not aware of the legality involved in the adoption.
Banda, 32, insists that he only thought that Madonna and her husband, Guy Ritchie, were planning to raise David and then return him to his African home and family.
A representative from the Oprah Winfrey Show explained, "You’ve read the headlines, heard the rumours and seen the photos. Now, for the first time, Madonna speaks out with her side of the story on the adoption controversy."
