Madonna was taken to a New York hospital on Saturday (April 18), after she fell off a horse on her photographer friend Steven Klein’s property, reports UsMagazine.com.
The singer’s rep, Liz Rosenberg, confirmed that Madonna was treated for minor injuries before being released from the hospital.
Rosenberg announced that the accident occurred because Madonna’s horse was startled by a paparazzo that jumped out of the bushes to snap a photo of the star.
The rep added, "Madonna will be having further tests and will continue to remain under observation by doctors."
